Nestled in the heart of Ontario’s picturesque landscape, Prince Edward County is a haven of natural beauty, hidden culinary gems, charming vineyards, and breathtaking lakeside homes. We recently stayed at the Parkway Lakehouse for a 2 night stay and I am so excited to share this stunning vacation rental with you.
Imagine waking up to the gentle lapping of waves and spending lazy afternoons reading your favourite book, sitting by the fireplace and watching the sun paint the horizon. The views from this home are simply mesmerizing, you can watch the sun go down as you soak in the hot tub right at the waterfront!
The parkway bakehouse was designed by Tiffany Leigh Design, it is so swoon worthy and very much our style. Creamy whites, stunning textures, so much natural light and beautiful plants. They have the perfect mix of classic and modern in this rental, and the sofa in the living space hugs you all over. It is such a cozy place to snuggle up by the fireplace and watch your favourite movie or to enjoy your next book cozied up in the window seat. You guys know I am a sucker for window seats, we put them in every project we do.
It is a two level vacation home with 2 main bedrooms and an adorable kids room upstairs with two beds and a play space, they’ve even created a sweet day bed area and private work space in the loft too!
The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware we needed which is always nice, we cooked a few meals in the house but the location is also great for venturing out to enjoy the culinary scene in the area.
We made sure to visit Parsons Brewery, it is such a great spot to visit with kiddos as it has ample outdoor space and a natural play area. You can enjoy some delicious food/drinks while the kiddos tire themselves out in nature.
In town we also spent some time browsing the cutest book store with the friendliest resident cat. We also checked out Kala Home, a beautiful store full of sustainable goods and a lovely apothecary store called Salon du Bois.
Back at The Parkway Lakehouse you will find a great outdoor space too. They have kayaks and stand up paddle boards, a great fire pit for roasting marshmallows, horseshoes and a lovely outdoor seating area. If it gets too buggy there is also a great screened in room with lounge seating and another dining set.
