Yep, you read that right…self-cleaning toilets! Talk about a mom hack right? I honestly never thought I would be sharing a post all about a toilet, but this isn’t just any toilet. It’s a game changer in my life. So much so, that we bought one for each bathroom in our most recent reno! The ActiClean Self-Cleaning toilets by American Standard Canada are a moms super hero, one of the best investments we made in this house hands down.
You may be wondering, How does the ActiClean System work?
– A clean cycle is selected by pressing the corresponding button. It features two cleaning cycles; Deep Clean and Quick Clean. Then the cleaner powerfully enters the bowl, scrubbing the walls of the toilet bowl. The cleaner will then saturate in the bowl for a set amount of time, depending on the cycle selected. Last, the system will automatically switch to the rinse cycle, siphoning the cleaning agent and rinsing the bowl. The result is a sparkling clean bowl…every, time!
I didn’t even know toilets like this existed until we partnered with American Standard Canada, before guests come over I do a light jog around the house and turn all of them on a cleaning cycle – we do deep clean our bathrooms quite often but it’s so nice to know that those in-between cleans are covered with the press of a button, so before guests come over – we have those bowls all sparkly clean! 😉
