Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is an exciting time in our household, I pour myself a glass of wine after the kids go to bed and I shop away – it’s called retail therapy and it’s honestly, the best kind! I also visit the locations nearby in Toronto and enjoy some “me time” browsing the sales with a nice hot coffee in hand. Shopping in store is always nice because Nordstrom has in-store perks such as personal/beauty stylists, same-day delivery within 10km of store, hassle free in-store returns, and alterations!
This year I went looking for specific items during the say, okay and some I didn’t need. But I’ve loved every piece so far and I feel great knowing I got it ALL on sale!! These pieces will work seamlessly into the fall and are some of my favourite brands. Soludos mules for example are the comfiest in the world in my opinion and these beauties are on sale for under $50!!!
First I picked up this Madewell tote on major sale!! This tote is by one of my favourite brands Madewell, their products are such great quality and this colour is so fun right now! Who else is gravitating to those peaches & pink hues this year?
I am pairing this Madewell tote with my new high waisted jeans, high waisted jeans have been my best friend the past two years – they make me feel sexy and hold everything where it needs to be held after having 2 kids. 😉 I pair them with a comfy oversized black tee, I swear I live in these guys. Tees are great as a busy mom – you can dress them up or down and I am learning to appreciate black clothing more this year! Loving this tee right now and these jeans from the sale. I am pairing this with my brand new Free People sweater in a bright red, red is a colour I have been loving this year and it can be worn all year round in so many different ways! I usually buy extra small in Free People items because they fit over sized and this one fit perfectly for me, it comes in 6 cute colours too – I may grab the white next!
Going into the colder months means cozy and more cozy, this sweater was a top seller and this year seems to be the same. I picked it up in charcoal this time and I can’t wait to snuggle up after a day of skiing in this number, the kids want one in their size haha! You guys seem to be crushing on mules and slides as much as I am and the Nordstrom Anniversary sale has a ton of gorgeous shoes on sale, I’ve stocked up on shoes for me and the kids and shoes for the fall & winter. Dresses are a great way to start on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, especially if like me you have a bunch of weddings to attend or you’ve been eyeballing the Gal Meets Glam line too. I ordered the pink wrap dress with the long sleeves, I have been wanting this dress since it was released and SO many other styles went on sale. I had to round them all up for you – now is the time to grab one of these beauties, or 2!
