Today we are sharing a homemade creamy tomato soup recipe + these gooey golden heart shaped grilled cheeses. So very simple, let’s start with the grilled cheese.
Evenly spread organic butter on two pieces of Dempster’s Ancient Grains Quinoa bread and place some cut up organic cheddar cheese sandwiched inside. I bolded evenly because in this house, you want that golden outside on the entire grilled cheese…no one wants their butter weakly spread only in the middle of the bread lol – am I right or am I right? Pan fry this delish sandwich on medium heat until golden on both sides and your cheese is melting in the middle! We love this 100% whole grains bread with ancient grains & quinoa and of course the fact that it is made with no artificial flavours or colours! Once our grilled cheeses were cool enough to handle we cut them into heart shapes together with heart cookie cutters, super easy guys and a fun way to involve the kids in the kitchen. PS we are just as particular that the cheese is evenly distributed on the inside so when you bite into your grilled cheese you have cheese all the way to the crust and once again not only in the center lol…do I sound crazy??? Please tell me we are not the only ones that take their grilled cheeses so seriously hahaha
Creamy Tomato Soup time!!! And this recipe is actually SO, SO easy!!
Do you have a Vitamix? If so, you are literally just throwing all of the ingredients inside and turning on the soup selection…if not you can puree it all and then stick it in a sauce pot to heat :).

Even as a young girl you couldn’t resist this. Grilled cheese with a tomato soup, still goes hand and hand and taste yummy
Can’t wait to make them tonight to put some in my daughter lunch tomorrow! She’s 16, I don’t know how she will react! Anyways, I’m sure her friends will say that is so cute!
Can’t wait to hear her reaction!! xo
