As the beauty industry continues to grow and grow, picking the perfect products can get overwhelming! I am turning 29 this year and over the last two years I have made the effort to give my skin what it deserves and use the best of the best for my every day looks. I want to invest in products that help combat the signs of aging while providing a flawless skin look, I want products that I can use every day while also being able to nicely build into an evening look. I want foundations that do not make my skin look aged (which I seriously find a lot of them out there do just that) and I want products that do not make my sensitive skin react. I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with Estee Lauder in December in Yorkdale and have my makeup done by Victor Henao, a phenomenal make up artist and the one responsible for Miss Kendall Jenner’s beautiful looks! I was SO excited!! I love working with makeup artists with a great portfolio, he was able to teach me some great tips on how to have a nice brown smokey eye look without looking like I just came out of battle with eyeliner lol – you guys followed along on Instagram stories through the entire experience and LOVED what he did. So today I am sharing what products he used to achieve this look and what products I fell in love with and still use on the daily!

One thing I loved about Victor was how he felt the skin of such importance when prepping for a makeup look, he took the time to use a beautiful moisturizer & serum on my skin prior to foundation. I am still using both of these products and a night one and LOVE them!! My 3 favs are the Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti Aging Cell Power Creme, my skin sucks it up and loves it. I’ve been using it since December both day & night. Next is the Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Rejuvenating Oil – I use this prior to foundation…it dramatically lifts the skin while strengthening the skins moisture barrier, perfect for winter especially! Before bed I have been using the Advanced Night Repair paired with the Revitalizing Supreme Creme, giving my skin the best while I sleep and it does the most work – I wake up and my skin feels seriously brand new.

Perfect for under the eyes, if you haven’t had your coffee yet and you are looking a little, well sleepy this is your go-to! Victor also used it as a highlighter for my cheekbones.

Double Wear Stay in Place Concealer: 

This stuff is PERFECT for spot treatment!!! I get slight redness around my nose and sometimes the odd blemish, this is the best for masking that redness. Find it here!

Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blush in 120 Sensuous Rose:

Seriously, loving this blush. It is my favourite blush in a long time, perhaps it’s just the perfect tone for my skin but it is that wonderful touch of bronze and pink tones and my skin loves it! Find it here.

I love this pencil paired with the lipstick below, it makes for the perfect every day nude but also has a nice colour to build into an evening look. One of my most favourite nude lips in a long time!
