Being a super busy stay at home mom of two and a blogger always on the go, my phone is either in my hands or in my back pocket so that I never miss those super cute moments I want to capture of the kids, or an important phone call! I can be snapping photos of the kids on the swing one minute or sharing a cute moment with my husband while he is at work. The next minute I could be uploading a post on Instagram, answering emails or on a call. Because of my busy schedule, I am always on the hunt for products that help me worry less and focus on enjoying more time with my kids! You guys know life with kiddos is super busy and adding a career into the mix, things can get a little chaotic at times. It’s incredibly important to me to always share products with you that I believe in, that we actually use and love and add some convenience to our busy lifestyle – this year we became American Express card holders and we’ve been so impressed with the level of service that comes with it and of course the perks I’m always telling you guys about! Just a couple of weeks ago we received an email alert that Amex was sending cardholders to a free screening of the new Tom Hanks movie, what!?! We were SO excited, we love movies and had we of not been cardholders we would have never had this experience.

There was a point earlier in the year when leaving the house with the two kids became something I avoided at all costs, it felt impossible to just go and run a simple errand. In between packing them and unpacking them from the vehicle, trying to manage them both while out in a store, and on top of that, potty training Noah & bathroom breaks for Ella, it became a little too stressful for me. Lately I’ve learned that adding a little bit more technology into our daily life can ease some pressure, and I don’t mean sticking the kids in front of the TV! I already religiously use my Amex Card to earn Membership Rewards points (I love them!), but I recently discovered the Amex App and how much easier it can make my life. It helps keep my spending on track and lets me access my transactions from anywhere. Not only does it make my life easier, it has a great new feature that I can use to treat myself. With the Use Points for Purchases feature I can quickly check on my phone if I have enough points to use towards those new shoes I’ve been swooning. Best part is I can do this while I’m on the go straight from the Amex App by selecting a recent purchase to redeem points. How cool is that?! Most importantly with anything I buy, I know I’m protected because my card has my back – it’s totally secure which really helps me worry less and focus on enjoying every day (even the chaotic mom moments).

I also love that Amex sends email alerts about upcoming concerts and events. With our crazy schedules, I don’t always have time to do the research myself on concerts and my hubby doesn’t always have the time to search for that perfect date night, so the alerts help us feel in the know, and gives great ideas for date nights together. We have a ton of travel plans for the rest of the year so this added convenience is even more important to us. We appreciate that right from our phones we can keep track of it all conveniently, including mobile fraud email alerts to help us stay in control of our account and stay secure. It offers us the peace of mind needed so we can shop confidently from anywhere we are in the world (like Vancouver, our most recent family trip!).
