I made it through the warm-up looking around the room in fear…”that was the WARM UP!?!?!” and then we hit Round 1, talk about adrenaline!!!! There were push-ups, planks, squats, pivets, weights and more squats and lunges and stretches and then a mountain running movement on gliders that killed me haha!!! I didn’t make it beyond Round 1 guys, BUT I am still proud of myself. My legs after just a half an hour were trembling and I was feeling a little dizzy so I had to take a step back, hydrate and sit out the rest of the class. I of course didn’t want to over do it or injure myself, I was there to create my own goals and I reached it for my first time back in a gym!
These classes are amazing if you are seeking a challenge or an amazing work out to really shock your muscles – it’s an all womens’ class AND it’s free!!! The music is amazing and the vibe is so encouraging, you feel like you are a team and all working together to the end. Julian Ho is so great at keeping you focused and challenging yourself, I also loved how well he leads the class and makes sure to tell you how to do movements properly! I wish I could have lasted longer and I can’t wait to challenge myself again and make it through a full class!! I just may get some mini workouts done in between so I am better prepared :).
