Guys!!! My coffee holy grail of coffee makers is here!! After living in New Zealand for nearly 3 years, visiting Australia a couple of times…I have to admit that I became a coffee snob. I loved this brand in NZ called Roasted Addiction – Sicilian Blend…I drank that alone or in a flat white ever day! When I cam back to Canada I struggled to find coffee that I loved just as much and even after I did, I struggled to find a coffee machine that gave me that fresh cup of coffee I craved…it just wasn’t the same. Kitchen Aid Custom Pour Over Coffee Machine is like bringing your favourite barista home (to make you coffee lol)! I am obsessed with this coffee maker and it’s results.
It mimics the manual pour over process from your barista delivering consistent infused flavour without the manual effort and heats the water to the optimal range of 198°F -204°F at the top of the brewer so that it minimizes heat loss during the extraction process. I grind my coffee beans every Sunday so that I have coffee for the entire week, I just can’t do the big bins of ground coffee…it has to be as fresh as possible! The one touch medium and dark roast settings on the Kitchen Aid coffee machine allow you to taste all the subtleties and flavour within these different roasts (exactly the way it should be). The progress bar on the front visual display shows each step of the brewing process, from heating, to pouring and then steeping, it’s pretty cool! I mean, why spend your hard earned money on great coffee only to brew it improperly and miss out on all the flavours you are supposed to taste?? No thanks!! It’s so easy to clean & use + I can program it the night before, who doesn’t like to wake up to freshly brewed coffee that you didn’t have to zombie walk over to make lol!?

As a former Starbucks barista and now mom of four, I now know and appreciate the value of good tasting coffee. My morning coffee is my time to wake up and prep for the day, and honestly my alone time to savor my favorite drink. It really is my favorite time of the day. I’m a huge fan of Kitchen Aid products and can imagine that this machine is incredible. I would love one of these to make incredible coffee and to help start my day off right!

Hi! This is such coincidental timing! My husband and I were hosting a brunch at our house this weekend when we discovered that our coffee machine was broken! To wake up in the morning and smell the lovely aroma of coffee would be so lovely. We would LOVE to have a freshly brewed (hot or warmed) coffee lol With two little ones keeping us busy it is nearly impossible to have a hot or warm coffee. Convenience is key. Ask any of our family or friends, we don’t own a coffee maker.. crazy right! Not that we don’t want to cause we do.. Its just hard to find the right coffee maker that will last and give us great taste for the money. Thanks for a great post. Beautiful pictures.

Ever since having to go dairy and sugar free (Naturopath ordered), I’ve had a very hard time adjusting to drinking my coffee black. I would love to win a new Kitchen Aid coffee maker because quality is of the utmost importance when you can’t mask bad coffee with tons of delicious creams and sugar Hahahaha

110%! I still can’t enjoy black coffee, even though I’m intolerant to dairy I have to have cream in mine lol! Silly, I know!! But I couldn’t imagine bad coffee if it was black, you totally need a new machine. good luck
Roxanne, if you havent already you should try So Delicious’ Coconut Creamers..they come plain or flavoured. My favourite was French Vanilla and it really helped me switch from cream. ( I went dairy-free before the sugar-free part haha)

This is amazing Roxanne! We would love to have a kitchen aid coffee maker because we do not have one at all and living in the valley outside of Ottawa there is no where to get a great cup of coffee. We travel to the city once in a while and it is a treat to get one. It would be amazing to have excellent coffee at he touch of a button!

As a mom of a 2 year old and a new 5 week old baby I need my coffee for sure. Unfortunately because I’m nursing right now I’ve had to give up dairy and I only like coffee with cream in it. Maybe if it was brewed properly I’d like it better. That cup of joe in the mornings sure would be helpful!
oh Courtney I hear ya, after having my first when I was nursing I gave up dairy and almost every thing else to soothe her tummy! Our second on the other hand was fine, have you tried the coconut creamer in the organic section of most grocery stores? I am someone who only likes cream but surprisingly I loved the coconut coffee creamer and there are no additives etc just coconut cream!
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ll have to pick some up. I’ve tried almond milk and cashew milk, but it’s just not the same.

This looks like an awesome machine. I love coffee and it gives me something to look forward to every morning and a little extra energy to get through the day when my kiddos are driving me nuts. This machine would enable to to drink more coffee!!!

This is the holy grail of coffee makers. To be able to self time the night before, choose between medium and dark roast settings, and to have simplest at its best is really hard to find. It’s like picking a partner to spend the rest of your life with ? Kitchen Aid is brand I trust and would love to own this brilliant coffee machine to add to my daily morning and day routines. With the amount of coffee our household drinks, it would be nice to enjoy a delicious cup and not just a convenient cup.
I don’t drink coffee but my boyfriend does! He would love this for his daily coffee, especially when our munchkin keeps us up all night. He does not function without caffeine
