I am an avid follower of the beautiful website Style Me Pretty, even the name makes me swoon! When they featured a “Cozy Apple Pie Workshop” in Denver Colorado, my heart skipped a beat…how adorable am I right!?!?! All together they focused on the steps it takes to make a gorgeous pie and boy did they do an amazing job. Ever since reading that post I knew I wanted to feature their event and perhaps host one of my own. I love doing DIY events with groups of women, it is amazing what beautiful things come of different creative minds working together and meshing our styles. If you’ve followed me for years now you know that I am almost always in the kitchen baking, and I LOVE hosting and feeding friends and family some yummy food!! So, you can bet your bottom that a pie baking get together or perhaps a quiche one is on my to-do list this summer! Check out these amazing photos and the gorgeous floral crowns used to decorate the pies…swoon and swoon all over again. You can see the full post by clicking {here} where you’ll find a delicious pie recipe too. If you are hosting a baby shower this year I feel like this would make the most adorable statement dessert or even whip one up for Easter with the fam.
If you are keen to make your own floral crowns for pies I suggest heading over to the The Proper Blog where Lexy Ward shows you all about making your own DIY floral pie topper or crown, I promise you will love her blog as much as I do! Check it out {here}. xo
