Ella’s Outfit: Old Navy
If you follow along on Instagram you would have seen the box full of delicious goodies we received on Ella’s birthday from Snack’nBaskets. We’ve been loving these health-conscious Snack’n Baskets as gifts lately to send to friends or family on special occasions, it’s something different and I for one prefer food over flowers 90% any day of the week! You can pick from a variety of baskets to suit your recipient or the occasion and you can also customize your own baskets by picking items from their marketplace! I personally LOVE the ‘New Parents Need to Munch‘ basket, edible gifts are the perfect gifts when you’ve just had a baby and you need to snack while spending your every ounce of energy staring and caring for a new babe. Of course this Canadian company would have a special basket for new parents, after all the creator of this company is a health-conscious mama of 3 who wanted to fill a gap in the gift giving market. 90% of the items they carry are made in Canada and the owner Nadia who is a passionate foodie searched local & farmers markets and food shows to find the best items to gift to your loved ones! Who wouldn’t appreciate a basket full of tasty products without fillers, preservatives, additives, colourings etc? I know we sure loved ours! We’ve used our local Drip syrup for everything from the delicious pancakes we made with the healthy mix we were sent in our basket to our morning coffee and oatmeal! Ella opened the basket first and it was so great to receive items that she could enjoy with us (minus the coffee ha!). We also were sent some delicious looking hot chocolate that we are excited to try this weekend with our homemade marshmallows from the recipe we featured last Christmas (found here), thanks Nadia!
