I guess I’ve held out long enough on these photos eh? I wanted to wait till our new site was live and I am so excited to finally to share some images of our special day with all of you! This is the first post of 4 wedding wednesdays I will run this month of October, yes I know today is a Thursday but that’s what happens when you fall asleep early and forget to hit publish on a Wednesday night ha ha! I have been SO tired since coming back from my business trip in Vancouver at the Fairmont and today is the first day I actually feel normal and I’ve only had ONE coffee!?! I simply HAD to sequence these posts since there are a fairly massive bundle of photos that are my favourites. I relive the moments when I go through these images, I remember the butterflies in my stomach all day anticipating walking down the aisle to the love of my life after our children did. There’s something about looking up at someone after you’ve given birth to their children and then looking up at them when they place a wedding ring on your finger and promise you forever…I am so happy we did things “backwards” as some would say! Ella still talks about our wedding and makes sure to tell us to turn up the radio when we are driving around and our first dance song comes on. In this post I’ve shared some images from before the ceremony where my girls and I got ready together and they + Craig surprised me with a heartwarming surprise of photos and personal letters in my bedroom. I cried a lot during all of this so I have absolutely no clue how my eye makeup made it to the ceremony intact. In the posts to follow I will share the ceremony & reception and some shots of Craig and I at sunset. I hope you all love the images as much as I do and the posts to come! xo
