Fairmont Vancouver

I had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Fairmont during my business trip to Vancouver right in the heart of downtown and of course super close to all of the shopping my heart desired. This hotel took such great care of me that I simply had to share it with you. Talllllllkkk about glamorous- these people have their lighting on point and my suite was to die for, if I hadn’t been so thrown off by the 3 hour time change I would have spent more time just relaxing sans-kiddos in their crazy comfy bed! Every room I stepped into had a swoon worthy statement lighting fixture and my camera just kept on clicking, especially in their new Notch 8 restaurant. This restaurant had such a handsome and intimate feel to it, the concept around it was to bring back a gone era of glamour and they incorporated the Canadian railway history. “Welcome to the new era of glamour”! The booths that we enjoyed our dinner in felt like we were in a private train dining car and were designed to feel just that and the food was exceptional!!!! It was really busy both evenings I was there with live music and a great vibe. All of the drinks and meals had an old school feel and you’ll see from my images all of the attention to detail Fairmont took from the tuffed tables to the gorgeous benches with old luggage straps! You all know I am a foodie and globetrotting Chef Balledine & his team are doing every thing right, if only the Fairmont Vancouver had staff that could carry you out of the restaurant after over indulging on their masterpieces because I was so incredibly full!? If you’re headed to Vancouver you should really get there for an evening of great food and drinks and live music too, make sure to try their signature bread!! All in all my business trip to Van was stress free thanks to Fairmont and their informative staff, I can’t wait to head back with the family!
