As you all know, we are very fond of our Valco Baby double stroller. It has travelled with us to Hawaii and other far away places, it holds our most precious cargo comfortably and makes life that much easier for me when on the go! We’ve been lucky enough to work with Valco Baby Canada, a company that has been proudly making strollers for years for growing families, strollers that are worthy of your trust and has a families needs in mind. We’ve been using the Snap Duo now since the fall and it’s been so perfect for our family, the stroller weighs only 20lbs, fits through every door way and folds down into a perfectly compact size with one hand! Over the course of the past month Ella has been wanting to chill in the stroller less, she wants to walk, walk and walk some more and I mean, it truly isn’t worth debating this with an almost 4 year old. You’ve tried to negotiate with a threenager before haven’t you? It’s not only hilarious but pointless, they will win in one way or another lol. So, we’ve come to the point where we’ve decided to trade in our trusty double and opt for a single with a glider board for our eldest to use when willing lol!
After some research on the Valco Baby Canada website, looking at all of the different features of each stroller & it’s accessories – we opted for the Snap Ultra + the Hitchhiker Glider Board. This stroller has the same tailormade fabric we love about our Snap Duo that I can throw in the wash (ideal), the great shade that covers the entire seat (collapsible) as well as the best full recline. What’s my favourite part about this stroller? It’s reversible! I love that Ella can ride along on the glider board and Noah will be facing us, so they’ll both be close. I especially love this for travelling, big crowds of people…I want my kiddos close to me and each other. The seat for this stroller is actually surprisingly long! We went into a local baby boutique to try them out and Ella (almost 4) comfortably fit in it too!! It’s suitable for babes up to 45lbs which is great, you know the stroller will last you a very long time!
We are still debating what colour to go with, we love our grey marle but you all know my undying love for denim so that’s pulling my attention too! I can’t wait to show you what we decide on when we do! For now we are enjoying our final days with our double, hitting up the park and snacking on locally made fresh baked goods in this delicious weather.
