This probably isn’t the best time to be writing a blog post, I am an emotional wreck…Ella turned 3 today. My sweet baby girl is another year older and as much as I enjoy watching her grow it is also so heartbreaking, it is bittersweet and I am a mess right now feeling as if I’ve been robbed of time. These photos were taken the month we found out we were expecting Noah so Ella was around 14 months old and I still remember this day so clearly, watching her run around the greenhouse so inquisitive of all of the green life around her. She would pet the big fiddle leaf fig leaves and held her own little plant most of the visit in her sweet little hands with those dimpled knuckles I still swoon daily.  Her smile still captures me as much as it did the very first time I saw it, I remember patiently waiting for the day she could say “I love you” and I still get butterflies whenever she does in her little adorable voice that is all her own. Craig and I sat for hours in front of the laptop the other night watching every single video we’d taken since she was born, we laughed and we teared up and of course snuck up to her room to kiss her cheeks and look at her. A million times over my children are my purpose and I hope you all know that about me and sometimes when I am MIA from the blog it is usually because my little ones are needing some extra dedicated mommy time. Okay, now let me try and pull myself together here lol!!!!!!!! I’ve been excited to share a new series with all of you on the blog and I thought this would be the best way to start, Mondays will now be dressed in my love for Midis! On the first Monday of every month starting today I will be sharing a midi skirt look on the blog and the price range of the outfit will vary, you can find my skirt here and I’ve linked to a few of my favourite necklaces & embellished sweaters below. I hope you’re as excited as I am for Midi Mondays! xo
