We celebrated Craigs 29th birthday this weekend, we were blessed to enjoy a dinner filled with a big group of friends…in this busy life we all have it is really heart warming to see friends take time out to celebrate with us. He had a great birthday and our Colts won the hockey game to top it all off. 

I baked delicious apple “pies” last night, they are so easy to make and taste divine! I will post the recipe up this week so you can try it. Ella was in extra wonderful spirits all weekend which warmed the birthday boys heart even more, what better birthday gift than to have a happy & healthy toddler to give you eskimo kisses? 

Another comfy sweater dress, my favourite go-to. Cable knit dresses are great for wearing with hosiery or leggings, they can be dressed up or down and you can find the perfect knitted pattern to suit your body shape. Even though these pockets really wouldn’t be used to hold anything, I love them – I love pockets on casual dresses. I found this one in winners in a variety of colours, it was only a mere $14…score! It is a great quality, washed & dried twice with zero shrinkage…another score.
